I think I just found the best store in all of Atlanta (and I’m a shop-a-holic so I’ve pretty much been to them all). This hidden treasure is called Decor-Decor and is located on 3588 Broad Street. The manager Mark Harding is a Mid-Century Modern Furniture collector, restorer and designer. He used to be have some of his furniture over at the notorious City Issue. He also designs a line of MCM inspired lighting (talk about skillz).

The moment I walked in the door I knew I was going to be spending some hard earned cash. Mark has the showroom set up so beautifully, you will never want to leave. I think I spent at least 4 hours rationalizing, visualizing, then finally deciding I did NOT need to redecorate my whole house…. Oh, but the possibilities were endless…

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE IF YOU LOVE MID-CENTURY MODERN FURNITURE. YOU WILL END UP BUYING SOME FABULOUS PIECE THAT YOU CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT!!

Luckily somehow a higher power intervened and ended up getting out of their with 2 planters, a full sized ceramic Buddha and a George Nelson-looking pendant light. I will, however, be back very soon.

P.S. Did I mention they also have modern zinc and fiberglass planters, and Asian ceramics out the YIN-YANG!?!?
