The Peachtree Center complex from John Portman will have a retail core, plenty of restaurants and many other offerings. It’s being dubbed as The Hub and it’s expected to open in the spring of 2019. This project is a part of the transformation of the once very recognizable transit hives of Atlanta.

Peachtree Center

Recently, developers of the project announced five new restaurants that will become a part of The Hub’s Gallery Level. This level will be located under the modernized courtyard and the five new restaurants will join Chick-fil-A, Yami Yami, Panbury’s and Aviva By Kameel.

The restaurants will be a part of a new food court, which will be connected to the outdoor courtyard and Peachtree Street. The goal of the center and the revitalization is to cater to the growing downtown population. In addition, 6,000 office tenants and 4,000 hotel rooms are connected to the Peachtree Center.

The owners of the property, Banyan Street Capital, expect 12 million annual visitors to The Hub.

The Hub will see work on the new restaurants begin later this year and a rolling schedule will be used through early 2018. The restaurants coming to the Peachtree Center include:

In addition, the company is also working on revamping a building in Buckhead found near Lenox Square. Plenty of projects are going on to revitalize areas of the city.
