This small but unique city can be found in north Georgia. The town, incorporated in 1903, is forty-five miles from Atlanta and twelve miles from Gainesville, the seat of Hall County. Flowery Branch, once the site of an early Indian trading post, was originally named Anaguluskee, derived from the Cherokee word meaning “flowers on the branch.”

Home of the Falcons
In 2004, the Atlanta Falcons football team announced its intention to move its training facility to Flowery Branch, where the team is currently based. A cutting-edge training campus, costing $20 million, was completed just in time for the 2005 training season.
The team typically don’t spend a lot of time at the facility, but they do host 10 or more open practices on the IBM training field. Flowery Branch boasts a quaint downtown with unique shopping, dining, and cultural opportunities.

5K Run/Walk Events – Held during the late spring/early summer, and also a Boo Run in the fall.
